Taryn's Egyptian paint stick. I think is unique because nobody made one that looks like mine. Everyone's is different.
1.) Why?
My words on my tablet are Art, Read, and Chocolate. I chose these words because those are three things that I really like. I like art, I absolutely LOVE to read (I read all of the time), and I also LOVE chocolate (who doesn't?) I chose the colors on my tablet (blue, purple, red, green, orange, and brown), because those were the colors that looked best with the picture.
2.) Problems/Solutions?
I didn't have very many problems. One of my only problems was carving the tablet. I didn't like the stick carving things that we used to carve with. I think it would be better if it wasn't a sharp point.
3.) Evaluation?
I think that I could have done better with my tablet. I don't think I carved deep enough, and I drew the As (bird) horrible. The ankh also looks horrible, I don't think I should have made stripes on it.
Dot Painting
This is a picture of my house and my neighbors. The water is a pond that my grandpa owns and the figure next to it is my grandparents cabin. My family goes fishing at the pond in the summer time, and sometimes we stay at the cabin for a night. My house is the one with ten people living in it. There is; my papa (step-dad), my mom, me, and my seven siblings. We also have a corn field near our house, my grandparents own that too. My grandparents live just down the road. My siblings and I like to walk down to their house every now and then, my grandpa made a path so my mom wouldn’t worry about us getting hit in the road. (My mom’s a worry wart!)
